The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a 40% increase in the prize money for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Côte d’Ivoire 2023.
The winner will now receive seven million dollars, with additional increments for the runner-up, semi-finalists, and quarter-finalists.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe expresses confidence that the increased prize money will contribute to football development and benefit all stakeholders.
