FIFA has approved 30 Nigerian referees to undertake international duties in 2024.
The approved list includes 11 referees, 11 assistant referees, four beach soccer referees, and four futsal referees. This decision reflects FIFA’s recognition of the competence and professionalism of Nigerian referees.
Among the referees approved for international duty are Basheer Salisu, Ogabor Odey Joseph, and Olufunmilayo Abigael Alaba. The inclusion of these referees in international assignments is a testament to their skill and expertise on the football field.
