Kylian Mbappe Joins Real Madrid as Free Agent

French striker Kylian Mbappe has signed a contract to join Real Madrid as a free agent for the next season, according to reports.

Mbappe, 25, informed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in February that he would leave when his contract expires this summer.

Having previously been linked with Real Madrid and nearly joining them in 2022, Mbappe finally made his decision to join the Spanish giants.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the transfer, stating that all documents have been signed and an official announcement will follow next week after Real Madrid’s Champions League triumph.

Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco in 2017 for €180 million, winning six Ligue 1 titles, four French Cups, and two League Cups. He leaves PSG as their all-time top scorer with 255 goals in 305 appearances.
