Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Barcelona Femeni forward Asisat Oshoala have earned nominations for the 2023 Globe Soccer Awards. Osimhen, a previous winner in 2022, is contending for the Emerging Player of the Year alongside notable football figures.
Meanwhile, Oshoala, a Super Falcons star, is nominated in the Women’s Best Player category, having contributed to Barcelona Femeni’s UEFA Women’s Champions League victory last season.
The winners will be determined through online voting, with the Gala event scheduled for January 19, 2024.
