The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has launched a digital platform called AfricDeezayn in collaboration with the Japan Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
The platform aims to provide a virtual online space for designers from ECOWAS member states to showcase their creativity and talent, fostering innovation and contributing to industrial development.
AfricDeezayn enables designers to interact as a community, protecting their intellectual property through copyright and related rights.
The mobile app is available for download on Google Play stores in both French and English languages. The initiative initially focuses on Ghana and Ivory Coast.
