Tragic Crash: One Survives as Plane Hits Indian City

 

A London-bound Air India flight crashed in Ahmedabad, India, killing 241 of 242 aboard, with one survivor. 

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner slammed into residential buildings shortly after takeoff, devastating a doctors’ housing area.

Rescue teams recovered 204 bodies, with dozens injured. Initial reports suggest a double engine failure, marking the first crash of a 787 Dreamliner. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the tragedy “heartbreaking,” while global leaders offered condolences. 

The airport shut down as investigators, including US and UK teams, probe the cause of the disaster that shocked the nation.
