World leaders have strongly condemned the United States’ airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, describing the attacks as illegal and dangerously escalatory.
On June 22, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the bombing of Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites, claiming the strikes had crippled Tehran’s enrichment capabilities and vowing more if Iran failed to “make peace.”
The global reaction has been swift and critical. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the strikes a “grave violation” of international law and warned of lasting consequences. Tehran has requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting, vowing to defend its sovereignty.
